Transmission Builder

Job Summary:

Transmission Builder Responsibilities:
- Diagnose transmission problems
- Rebuild transmissions
- Experience with automatic and manual transmissions for domestic and import vehicles (both early and late model)
- Maintain equipment and tools related to the job function.
- Keep track of the number system and inventory of units
- Compile a daily record of units built and submit to the Manager at the end of each month
- Report all out-of-stock items to the Center Manager
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum five years of transmission rebuilding experience
- Have a quality set of tools
- Punctuality
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to multi-task
- Able to give instructions
- Capable of assuming responsibility
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
